Hello I’m back from Penang and I only ate one char kuey teow in this trip! not bad not bad. Anyway, here are the pictures from the nuffnang’s wildlife party!

I seriously don’t know why I bother bringing a camera if I’m always too lazy to use it! Grr I hate myself.

So anyway, I went as an ostrich! I wanted to go as a peacock at first but I found out that everyone wanted to be peacocks too.

This is my inspiration! I remember watching this ANTM episode once and really liked the ostrich costume!

Ok before I start showing you pictures, let me tell you some random facts about ostriches! Do you know, an ostrich egg is so hard that you can stand on it and it won’t break at all! I went to South Africa and stood on one before and it didn’t break ok! And also, one ostrich egg is equivalent to 50 normal eggs! (when you break it la) (i wonder how they break the eggs then!)

so i went as an ostrich and this is with wenqi the bunny! (if only i have longer neck and legs) (can you see aud here hahahhaa)

Anyway I DIY-ed my costume! I rented two feather boas (from a costume shop for RM5 each! if buy then RM30 each ok) , bought some net kinda cloth for my skirt and erm..that’s all! used the net thing to poof up my skirt and used the leftover for my hair (can’t see here).

Also, ostriches have long eyelashes but I didn’t wanna waste too much money on feathery fake lashes so I took loose feathers that fell off from my boas and glued them on my fake lashes! I’m a genius right so I only spent like RM12 on my costume *proud

Huiwen, A GORILLA HAHAH, me, ANOTHER GORILLA HAHAHA (firdauz wtf) and aud! Aud also DIY-ed her own costume one can you see her cute wings!

I was so shy when I saw Hanis dunno why maybe cause she was damn tall then she asked me what am I and and I..I..I said I’m a peacock T_______T identity crisis T_____T too shy until say i’m a peacock T_______T

Then, there was this small girl there who asked me if I could run really fast like an ostrich (an ostrich can run up to 65km an hour!!) and I said yes I can! Then I told her i can run to the end of the room and back in just 1 sec, asked her to close her eyes and count 1, then stomped my feet wtf to prove that i ran and is back already wtf she called me a liar T_T

we were nominated for the best dressed contest and look at our competitor wei got face paint somemore!
